Thoughts:
Season two also represented a step forward in my opinion. While it featured one of the more “meh” episodes (so far) in Mac Bangs Dennis’ Mom, it’s worth noting that a 73 is still a pretty solid episode – it’s not often that “meh” gets a 7/10 on the Ryan Scale.
Overall, the addition of Danny DeVito to the cast does wonders not only for opening up avenues for the gang in-universe, but also as a hilarious actor. Characters are slowly finding their stride here (Dennis hasn’t gone full sociopath yet but is trending there).
